Antonia Messerdzhieva, regional coordinator – Burgas district

Antonia joined HHC Bulgaria team in 2015 as a regional coordinator for Burgas district. She initiated the District Deinstitutionalization Coordination Mechanism in the district and thanks to her active work the mechanism was turned it into a successful and sustainable practice for solving the problems of children and families at risk of separation and abandonment.

Her professional attitude and care for the problems of children and families, as well as her communication and teamwork skills facilitate the coordination and interaction with all organizations and institutions related to the problems of children at risk in Burgas district.
