The children from the Children’s Participation Program at Hope and Homes for Children – Bulgaria aged 10 – 18 years on the eve of Christmas gathered together at the Bread House on 15 of December. During the meeting, they shared the past year and told about their dreams in 2020. Each of the children made their own picture of flour and then mixed the dough for Christmas sweets in pairs. All children expressed their readiness to continue to be part of the Children’s Program, to promote it, to meet children of different backgrounds and to succeed in being a children’s voice. During the kneading, the children talked to each other and thought about their upcoming joint events in 2020. At the coming Christmas Eve, the children wished to continue to gather, be part of one community and support all children through various initiatives and activities. As a gift, the children received a small adapted version of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
