Declaring a protection policy
Declaring a protection policy
Hope and homes for children Bulgaria aims to ensure the safety and protection of the children we work with in accordance with Article 19 of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Introduction
Many of the children with whom Hope and homes for children Bulgaria works are children at risk and are particularly vulnerable. Our aim is to protect their rights and ensure that their best interests are met by placing them in the care and love of a family so that they can enjoy their childhood, go to school, be part of the community and have the chance to reach their full potential.
The guiding principle of our work is to ensure the safety of the children and families we work with and to be able to recognize all forms of violence, including abuse, maltreatment, exploitation, neglect and to protect them from harm. HHC – Bulgaria recognises its own responsibility to safeguard the welfare of all children and young people the organization works with by protecting them from risks, including those in a digital environment.
Our Child Protection Policy aims to ensure that no member of the staff, volunteers or partners of HHC engage in any act or behaviour that could endanger or put at direct or indirect risk children, their families or other adults, including their personal or other sensitive data.
