In Veliko Tarnovo, HHC – Bulgaria together with Lidl supported nine children from six families.
Many low-income families save on child’s costs, and this affects their quality of life. Securing sockets, sharp edges, doors and cabinets is not a household expense, but it poses a danger to the youngest children. Our efforts are aimed at encouraging families to pay attention to the environment in which adolescents are brought up, what skills they create and how children grow up.
After an individual assessment of the families, home safety aids, books, constructors, household aids, clothes and shoes were provided.
This donation will make it possible to ease the family budget and to be able to prepare older children for school.
