The pandemic of COVID 19 showed us how vulnerable we are as people and society. Pandemic showed us that personal measures lead to public security and the behavior of all of us can determine our future. In this situation, Hope and homes for children – Bulgaria works with families with children under the project “Support Now!”, funded by the Foundation “Workshop for Civic Initiatives”, under the program “IRIS”. Our goal is through our method of ACTIVE family support to reduce the adverse effects of social isolation for children and for them to grow up with their parents. Many families have lost their income due to business closures or restructuring. Building a supportive environment for families reduces anxiety and creates security and trust in society.
Under the Iris Program in Stara Zagora region, we support eight families who provide a home, calmness and comfort for their children.
