HHC – Bulgaria submitted documents for receiving a license for provision of social services to the Agency for the quality of social services in April. As a result, the Agency has issued an order approving three licenses for provision of social services “Community work”, “Information and consultation” and “Advocacy and mediation”. The licenses were received in the middle of May. HHC – Bulgaria started analyzing the situation and searching for opportunities on the municipal level to provide these services. HHC – Bulgaria also is in a process of reviewing the National map of social services in order to gain clarity what type of services the different municipalities are planning to develop. The review of the National Map of the social services was started by the Regional coordinators of HHC – Bulgaria and some follow-up discussions with the Mayors of municipalities will be organized afterwards.
