Hope and Homes for Children – Bulgaria and Lidl once again joined forces and resources to help families at risk.
In recent months, many low-income families and young children are in crucial need of funds. The HHC-Bulgaria carefully examines all cases and seeks opportunities to provide support. With the help of partners, we work to make families feel secure about their future and to raise their children in a better environment. In June we provided donations to over 15 families from Vidin district. Household utensils, clothes and shoes were given to children whose parents lost their jobs, found themselves in a crisis without funds or had irreversible changes in the family environment. In Vratsa, clothes and shoes were distributed to six large families, who accepted the help with great gratitude. All families share that these donations will allow them to allocate funds from the family budget for their children and without the support of Hope and Homes for Children – Bulgaria and Lidl would be difficult to cope.
