Miglena Nikolova is regional coordinator for Sliven region. She works daily in the field in a multicultural community, applying an individual approach to each individual family in providing support aimed at ensuring the best interest of the child – to be raised in a family environment. Participates in multidisciplinary teams to implement biological family reintegration, foster parent support and skills training. In working with different families – consults, accompanies and helps families and their children. The overall work is directed towards parents increasing their capacity and children catching up in their development. It works together with the Child protection departments of Sliven, Kotel, Tvarditsa and Nova Zagora.
