The Charity Initiative “Christmas Tree of the Good” in the regional administration – Burgas this year will rejoice dozens of children from socially disadvantaged families on the eve of Christmas and New Year in Burgas region.
The campaign of the District DI Coordination Mechanism (DDICM) is being carried out for the fourth consecutive year. This year the appeal was for diapers, milk and food and toys for children up to 3 years of age. More than 150 packages of toys, new clothes, shoes, books, cosmetics and baby food were gathered in less than 20 days, and many donors were asking and waiting for the campaign. On the day before Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day, the social workers and the Regional Coordinator of Hope and Homes for Children – Bulgaria will visit all children at risk with whom the Coordination Mechanism worked during the year and will delight children and families from the municipalities of Burgas Region. .
A number of organizations, companies, citizens and employees of the Regional Administration of Burgas again participated in the noble initiative. Adapted milk, diapers, baby cereals and purees, clothing and toys were donated by Zonta Club Burgas, Club “Women in Science”, Self-awareness Association, Black Sea Women Association, Char Company, Smile Association, Association Baba Ganka Hadjipetrova, members of parliament and many citizens.
