On July 30, 2025, the Aleko Konstantinov Family-Type Placement Center for Children and Youth was filled with color, smiles, and inspiration. As part of the “Participate Now” project, the session organized by Hope and Homes for Children brought together children from different backgrounds – participants in our children’s program, children from supported families, and children from the Family-Type Placement Center for Healthy Children at the Ivan Vazov Family-Type Placement Center for Children and Youth.
Together we drew, glued, played – but most importantly, we created a cozy and shared atmosphere in which every child felt accepted, loved, and important. We talked about everything that excites them – games, sports, dreams – because we believe that it is in these moments that children grow with confidence and self-belief.
“Participate Now” is not just an initiative – it is an invitation to every child to express themselves, make friends, and feel the power of community. Because every child needs not only care, but also attention, understanding, and the opportunity to be heard.
