The partnership of Hope and Homes for Children Bulgaria with Lidl

Lidl's Christmas campaign to support children and families in need collected 10 344 food items. In addition, the company provided their cash equivalent of BGN 20 000. Lidl Bulgaria employees also contributed with personal donations worth over BGN 6,500.

Hope and Homes for Children Bulgaria participated as a partner with experience and resources to work with vulnerable children and families. The organisation has a network of experts who are well versed in how best to use the resources.

In the first two months of this year our team managed to reach 105 families with 271 children from the regions of Vratsa, Pleven, Sofia city, Sofia region, Varna, Plovdiv, Veliko Tarnovo, Sliven, Vidin and  Burgas. Our work will continue throughout the year and here it is important to note that when we have food and funds to buy medicines, baby food, clothes and diapers we can always respond to any family crisis quickly and stop the development of the crisis.

When products are provided to the family this allows funds to be released and directed to the children. In this way, foodstuffs are relevant for everyone.

Throughout 2025 the donation will reach different families who will continue to raise their children with love and we will be there for them in their time of need.
