On August 29, 2025, with the help of Lidl, families in need and at risk of separation from their children received:
27 boxes of clothing,
22 boxes of household goods
7 boxes of repair items and other items
27 boxes of household appliances.
For many of these parents, poverty is the main cause of anxiety and fear that they will not be able to cope with raising their children. It is precisely this factor that often leads to abandonment. Our mission at Hope and Homes for Children – Bulgaria is to give every child the chance to grow up in a loving family environment, rather than in an institution.
Thanks to the donation, through our coordinators, the support will reach the families in time – just before the start of the new school year.
